Spinotarsus caboverdus, commonly known as "mil-pés" (Portuguese for "thousand-feet") is a species of millipede that is found primarily in Santo Antão, Cape Verde, where a blight of these animals has made the government issue a prohibition on the exportation of many of the island's products to the other islands.[1][2]
