Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Sybil Lynch (born June 2, 1965, New Jersey), known simply as Sybil,[1] is an American R&B and pop singer who had a successful career during the 1980s and 1990s.

Career

Sybil began recording in 1986 and is best known for her cover versions of Dionne Warwick's hits "Don't Make Me Over" and "Walk On By", which were released in 1989 and 1990, respectively. They were both Top 20 successes on the UK Singles Chart, with the latter being the highest charting position for this Burt Bacharach/Hal David classic (#6), closely followed by Gabrielle (#7). Her other hits include the Stock/Waterman-written "When I'm Good and Ready" (UK #5) and her cover of "The Love I Lost" (UK #3).

Sybil appeared on the UK version of the television series Hit Me, Baby, One More Time in 2005 performing her hit "When I'm Good and Ready".
