Teton Glacier is a mountain glacier located below the north face of Grand Teton in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, United States. It is surrounded by Mount Owen to the west and by Teewinot Mountain to the north.[2] Teton Glacier is the largest of the twelve named glaciers in the park. In 1971, the glacier was approximately 3,500 ft (1,100 m) long and 1,100 ft (340 m) wide.[3] Between 1967 and 2006, Teton Glacier lost approximately 14 to 20 percent of its surface area, a reduction from 64 to 53 acres (26 to 21 ha).[4]
