The Ultimate Fighter: Team Benavidez vs. Team Cejudo (also known as The Ultimate Fighter 24) will be an installment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)-produced reality television series The Ultimate Fighter.[1][2]

On May 11, 2016 the UFC announced that the 16 competitors for the season would be made up of flyweight fighters from various locations and organizations around the world, (including champions for other organizations).[3]

The coaches for the season would be former flyweight title challengers and divisional stalwarts Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo.[1]

The Ultimate Fighter: Team Benavidez vs. Team Cejudo Finale (also known as The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event that will be held on December 3, 2016 at a venue TBA in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1]

Background

The event is expected to be headlined by a UFC Flyweight Championship bout with the current champion (either Demetrious Johnson or Wilson Reis who are slated to fight at UFC 201) facing the winner of the flyweight tournament from The Ultimate Fighter 24.[4][1]

Also, a flyweight bout between season coaches Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo will serve as the co-main event.[1]
