Topslip

Topslip is located at 2554 Feet (774 Meter) above sea level on the Anamalai mountain range. It is popularly known as Anamalai Hills. It is a small place in Anaimalai Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary that lies in the Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu at the southern part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.[1] Separated from the Nilgiri Hills by the Palghat Gap on the north, the Park is contiguous to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) to its west and to the Eravikulam National Park (Kerala) and Chinnar Wild life sanctuary.

Topslip is about 37 km from Pollachi, the nearest town, and 9 km from the village of Sethumadai.[citation needed]

Transportation

  • Nearest international airport: Coimbatore (75 km)
  • Nearest railway station : Pollachi (30 km). From Pollachi, there are trains to Chennai and Tiruchendur (via Palani & Dindigul).
