Veerabhadram Chowdary is a movie director in the Telugu film industry. He was born in the village Kalavalapalli in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.

Personal life

His full name is Mullapudi Veerabhadram Chowdary. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. He completed 10th class (SSC) in a nearby village Unagatla in 1989. He used to perform dramas and shows during school days. He completed his graduation in a nearby town Nidadavole in 1995 and came to Hyderabad in 1997 to do MCA coaching. He learnt many software skills but Veerabhadram had a huge interest in Telugu movies since young age and he focused his thoughts on film industry and joined as assistant director in 1997. His determination and confidence got him big movie chances. He says he is a huge fan of late Nandamuri Taraka RamaRao and also says that Nagarjuna's Siva movie induced some cine spark in him. He married Valli and he has two children, Sathvik and Rithvik.

Career

Veerabhadram Chowdary worked as assistant director, co-director for few movies from 1997 to 2009. He made his direction debut in 2011 through Aha Naa Pellanta starring Allari Naresh, Ritu Barmecha, Sri Hari and Brahmanandam. The movie was a success. It was a comedy family entertainer. His direction for this movie got good remarks for him. In 2012, he directed his second movie Poola Rangadu starring Sunil and Isha Chawla. It was a big hit. This was also a Comedy packed movie but with some action. The story of the movie is normal, but the direction and screenplay lead the movie to a hit. His third movie Bhai with Tollywood's top actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and Richa Gangopadhyay, released in 2013, was met with a mixed response. This was an action-packed movie produced by Annapurna Studios and Reliance Entertainment.
