Visa policy of Bolivia
Citizens (ordinary passport holders) of specific countries and territories are eligible to visit Bolivia for tourism or business purposes without having to obtain a visa.
There are 3 groups of countries, countries whose citizens do not require a visa, countries whose citizens can obtain a visa on arrival and countries whose citizens must obtain visa in advance.

Visa exemption
Citizens of the following 50 countries and territories may enter Bolivia without a visa for a period of up to 90 days annually (permitted length of stay is initially 30 days, then it can be extended free of charge):[1]
1 - Except for nationals of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Malta and Romania who must obtain visa on arrival.
2 - 30 days for Dutch residents of Bonaire, Saba, St. Eustatius, Curacao, St. Maarten.
ID - May enter with an ID card too.
Holders of diplomatic or service passports of any country except Israel do not require a visa. Visa exemption also applies to holders of normal passports of China endorsed "For Public Affairs".
Visa on arrival
Citizens of all other countries may obtain a visa for Bolivia valid for 90 days on arrival for approximately US$100.[2] Nationals of the United States in order to obtain a visa on arrival must hold hotel reservation or letter of invitation and sufficient funds plus US$160 for visa in cash. The visa is valid for 10 years for multiple entries.[3] Nationals of Iran can obtain a visa on arrival for 30 days only at Cochabamba, La Paz and Santa Cruz airports.[4] Nationals of China (including Hong Kong and Macau) can obtain a visa on arrival for 30 days only if they do not reside in Mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau.[5]
This is not applicable to nationals of the following countries and territories:[2]
