The station serves communities throughout Mifflin County, Huntingdon County, Juniata County, and Snyder County all in central Pennsylvania. The station is owned by Kristin Cantrell, through licensee Southern Belle, LLC.
The broadcasts come from WMRF from their studios in downtown Lewistown.
Merf Radio is also the Penn State Nittany Lions sports station for the Lewistown and Huntingdon areas, carrying Penn State football, and Penn State men's and women's basketball.
