The Weekly Alibi, commonly referred to as The Alibi, is a free weekly arts, culture, and entertainment newspaper published in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[2] The newspaper contains information about culture and entertainment related events within New Mexico's largest city, and is distributed to subscribers across New Mexico's largest markets. The main features are the reviews, information, and guides of arts, literature, entertainment, film, its "Chowtown" restaurant information,[3] and its "Best of Burque" awards which covers everything from "Best Community Action Group", "Best All-You-Can-Eat", to "Best Gay Bar."[4]
Originally the newspaper was a bi-weekly newspaper called NuCity, but changed their name due to a similar Chicago newspaper entitled Newcity.
