Wuxi Metro is a two line metro system in operation in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, China. Line 1 began operations on the 1 July 2014,[1] and Line 2 on 28 December 2014.[2][3]

Line 1 runs north to south over 29 kilometers (18 mi) serving 24 stations. Most of the route is underground including 19 stations, with only 5 stations[1] and 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) running on an elevated alignment. CSR Zhuzhou supplied 23 six-car trainsets for the system.[4]
Line 2

Line 2 runs east to west over 26.6 kilometers (16.5 mi) with 22 stations (including one transfer station with Line 1). Most of the route is underground, apart from 6.6 kilometers (4.1 mi) of elevated alignment. CSR Puzhen supplied a fleet of 120m-long six-car Type B metro trains for the line.[3]
