Bill Tilden defeated Bill Johnston 6–1, 9–7, 6–2 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1924 U.S. National Championships.[2] It was Tilden's fifth U.S. Championships title and his seventh Grand Slam title overall.
