The 2016–17 season is Hibernian's (Hibs) third season of play in the second tier of Scottish football the Scottish Championship, since they were relegated from the the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2013–14 season.[1] Hibs will also compete in the Europa League,[2] Challenge Cup, League Cup and they will be defending the Scottish Cup after winning the 2016 final.[3]
