51st British Academy Film Awards

Lua error in Module:Infobox at line 235: malformed pattern (missing ']'). The 51st BAFTA Film Awards, given by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts on 18 April 1998, honoured the best in film for 1997.

Peter Cattaneo's The Full Monty won the award for Best Film. Nil by Mouth from director Gary Oldman won the Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film.
