The Buranda Busway Station, at Buranda, is part of the South East Busway served by TransLink bus routes. The busway station is beneath the Buranda Railway Station on the Cleveland Line. It is in Zone 2 of the TransLink integrated public transport system.
Buranda will become a major busway interchange with the Eastern Busway following the opening of the Buranda to UQ Lakes section (formerly known as the Boggo Road Busway) in August 2009 and construction of the Buranda to Main Avenue section to be completed in 2012. On 30 August 2010, the State Government announced construction of the Buranda-Main Avenue section was 3 months ahead of schedule with completion anticipated in late 2011.[1]
