The Stones Corner Busway Station is a busway station at Stones Corner in Brisbane, Australia. The station is served by TransLink routes travelling on the proposed Eastern Busway. The station is in Zone 2 of the Translink integrated public transport system.
The station is a short distance from the Stones Corner dining and retail precinct. Buses connect to Buranda busway station and the South East Busway by traveling over Norman Creek then through a tunnel which passes under Old Cleveland Road and Logan Road.
Development
Construction of the Buranda to Mains Avenue section of the Eastern Busway was commenced in April 2009 and opened on 29 August 2011, at least 3 months ahead of the original construction schedule.[1][2][3]
