Drashti Dhami is an actress, model and dancer. She is recognized for her roles in the shows Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi and Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.[1] She currently essays the role of Gayatri in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
Career
Dhami began her career in modeling with print and television advertisements before debuting in the entertainment industry with her appearance in the music video for Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re.[2] Her first role was in the Star One show .
- Dill Mill Gayye, where she portrayed the bubbly Dr. Muskaan. She then appeared as the female lead on the very popular Star One show .
- Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi opposite Gurmeet Choudhary, where their pairing and her performance garnered widespread respect and attention.
- Dhami also made a brief appearance through her dance performance for the show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha.
- Dhami is also the winner of the 6th season of Indian dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan.[3] She was chosen to be the brand ambassador for Canvironment Week 2011, 2013 and 2014, initiated by Hindustan Tin Works Ltd to support the cause of 'Save Our Planet'.[4] Eastern Eye placed her on its list of World's Sexiest Asian Woman; 12th in 2012,[5] 3rd position in 2013,[6] and 2nd position in 2014.[7] In 2014, FHM India's 100 Sexiest Women List also placed Dhami in the top 10 for 2014.[8] She also became brand ambassador of MATRIX India's colour brand SoColor that same year.[9]
- She then played the titular role in the most popular Colours TV serial Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opposite Vivian Dsena. Following her success as Madhubala, the actress took a year long break from television before returning to TV .

Personal life
On 21 February 2015, Dhami married her longtime boyfriend and businessman Neeraj Khemka. [11][12]
