Jeanne McCarthy is an American casting director.[1] She was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards in the category Outstanding Casting.[2] McCarthy also won an Primetime Emmy Award for her casting directing work in the anthology television series American Crime Story first season The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.[3]
McCarthy was one of the people to be mentioned in Vanity Fair's magazine about people who worked as a casting director, being nominated for an Academy Award.[4] She worked for the 2014 film Foxcatcher.[5] McCarthy was honored the Independent Spirit Robert Altman Award at the 24th Independent Spirit Awards.[6]
