WCHO (1250 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an Oldies format. Licensed to Washington Court House, Ohio, USA. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and licensed as Citicasters Licenses, L.P. and features programing from iHeartMedia, Inc.'s Premium Choice "Cool Oldies" format. Likewise, the station's branding varies between "Cool Oldies" and "Classic Hits."[1]
History
The station went on the air as WCHO in February 1952. It became WOFR on 1983-06-27, then changed its callsign to WBUB on 1998-04-17, then back to WCHO on 1999-01-18, then to WMXV on 1999-11-05, then back to WCHO on 2000-10-23, then to WKSI on 2002-03-26, and back to the current WCHO on 2003-12-24.[2]
