Sweetheart is the seventh studio album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck, the first of three 1971 releases.

Production

Packaging and title

The album is named after his August 28, 1970[1] single "Sweetheart", written by Barry and Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees.

Release

Decca Records released the album in the UK in January of 1971.[2]
Dutton Vocalion reissued the album on August 11, 2009[3] as half of a 2-fer CD, We Made It Happen/Sweetheart.
Decca released the album again in 2017 as disc 7 of The Complete Decca Studio Albums.[4]
