LY-2940094 is a potent and selective nociceptin receptor antagonist which is under investigation by Eli Lilly for the treatment of major depressive disorder and alcohol dependence.[1][2] It has demonstrated proof-of-concept clinical efficacy for depression.[3] As of 2015, it is in phase II clinical trials for both of the aforementioned indications.[1][2] Its chemical structure has yet to be published.[1]
